I opened up my wallet to exchange some American money for colones (Costa Rican money) with my Dad and I could not believe that what I pulled out was a quarter! It looked so small! Here is a picture of a regular sized quarter (25 cents) and a 100 colones piece (equal to about 20 cents) and look at the difference!
Tommorrow, March 24th is my Daddy's birthday! A friend made him this cool shirt with all of Dad's favorite sayings on it! Dad is going to wear it to school tomorrow! (sorry that it is sideways!) On the back, (couldn't get the picture to load) it says Tengo 40 anos! Marzo 24! (I am 40 years old on the 24th of March!)
