Mommy!

Okay so Yesterday was my Mommy's birthday. SO HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY MOM!

I love you!

Independence Day

Today was Independence Day for Costa Rica.

Last night, kids lined the streets with their LANTERNS (a tradition here) and sang songs. This morning, our family got together with some friends and went to a park where they were singing traditional songs and then we caught a group of bands and baton twirlers. And of course, fireworks went off at 5:00 this morning!!!!

Sandollers

This week, I have been on the Carribbean side of Costa Rica. We again saw many monkeys, and birds...... and dogs. Today, we were swimming and saw a whole bed of sandollers. It was so cool! There were at least 1000.! So I kept one.....

P.S. I think it's soooo cool that God made the sandollers with flowers imprinted in there skin. (at least when there alive!)

Ouch!

Last week we were at the beach, right? So I was body surfing and I hit a rock. It scrapped up my upper leg and totally messed up my knee. There's a picture above..........

Also, above is the pictures of the monkeys at breakfast.

Criminals

Okay, So yesterday we arrived at the beach. The animals, including raccoons and iguanas, and not afraid of people..... at all! While we were eating lunch, two raccoons came from each way. (They so planned it!) They came right up to our table. I was scared and turned away, while one of the raccoons stole my Club Sandwich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scary lunch experience. So this morning at breakfast, monkeys came jumping in and stole Bannanas, and Splenda packets. When I can find the video on my computer, I'll put it. Should be a couple days.

Just Stuff

So, I couldn't find time to find pictures of the girls trip down here. But you'll have to take my word that we had a great time.

NEW THINGS:
1. My family is now staying in CR for 6 more months to train for a new job position in Panama
2. Please pray for us as a lot of our friends are finishing their language learning here and moving away this week and the following

That's about it. School starts back in a month. Spanish is coming along great for us all. Thanks for praying!
