International Markets

Today, my class went to the "International Markets". They were sooo cool! I bought little treats for everyone in my family and then a drumstick (ice cream) for myself because we don't get dessert here very often. =-)
As we went to different "countries" through these markets, we later realized that we were going to different religions too! We visited a Buddhist, Muslim, Roman Catholic, and Hindi people group. We ran into two very kind women who gave us things from the store. In the European Market, a lady gave each child an advent calender. Also, at the Indian Market, the owner gave us tattoo's, brought down prices for us, and even gave away some Bangles (Indian bracelets) for free. It was an amazing experience to see what the people in these places eat, wear, speak like, and sell. I had a great time!
